The Reign Man and the Glove headlined perhaps the most exciting era of basketball in SuperSonics history. From 1990-91 to 1996-97, Kemp and Payton led the Sonics to 7 playoff berths, 5 seasons of 55+ wins, multiple Western Conference Finals appearances, and a heavyweight clash with Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the 1996 NBA Finals. During their 7-year run as teammates, Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton put together a highlight reel for the ages: electric fast breaks and high-flying lobs as they racked up win after win. However, as good as their chemistry was on the court, the pair are even closer off the court.
